Pixar's only movie this CARS 2 opens this weekend. Any Pixar film is usually a show in for a Best Animated feature win. Like last years TOY STORY 3. CARS 2 does not seem to be holding up to the Pixar magic. The reviews have been pretty bad with a Rotten Tomato rating of a 44%. So lets look ahead to Pixar for nest year. BRAVE is set to be released June 22, 2012. Disney released the first poster from the film shown above. According to Gordanandthewhale.com:
BRAVE stars Kelly MacDonald, Billy Connelly, Emma Thompson, Julie Walters, Kevin McKidd, Craig Ferguson and Robbie Coltrane, and follows the story of “the princess of a kingdom ruled by King Fergus and Queen Elinor. An unruly daughter and an accomplished archer, Merida one day defies a sacred custom of the land and inadvertently brings turmoil to the kingdom. In an attempt to set things right, Merida seeks out an eccentric old Wise Woman,and is granted an ill-fated wish. Also figuring into Merida's quest -- and serving as comic relief -- are the kingdom's three lords: the enormous Lord MacGuffin, the surly Lord Macintosh, and the disagreeable Lord Dingwall.”
Pixar is also releasing the prequel to MONSTERS INC. nest year titled MONSTERS UNIVERSITY.
They also announced another unnamed release for November 27, 2013.
