The Writers Guild of America announced their nominations this morning. In the end they are not much a precursor to the Oscars because the writers have to be a member of the union to be nominated. Shame, Martha Macy, Albert Nobbs, Drive, Margin Call, Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy, The Iron Lady and My Week with Marilyn and The Artist were all ineligible. It does give films that would otherwise not be considered chance. Like Win, Win. One of the most underrated movies of the year. Anyway here are the nominations:
