GOLDEN GLOBE AWARD WINNERS








There were a few surprises from last nights Golden Globe Awards. Meryl Streep winning over Viola Davis surprised many. The truth is Streep carries THE IRON LADY while Davis has a great supporting cast, so NO the Hollywood Foreign Press is not racist! They just voted for what they thought was the Best Actress of the year. If anything came from the Globes tonight it is that Christopher Plummer and Octavia Spencer are a lock for Oscar win. Here is the list of went home with a an award:

Best Supporting Actress: Octavia Spencer, “The Help”*
Best Supporting Actor: Christopher Plummer, “Beginners”*

The asterisks represent my predictions that were correct. I chose 9 correctly out of the 14. That is 64% correct. Hopefully I do can better at Oscar time.
